Check to see if your battery has at least a 20% charge or your machine will not start. Push the test button on the battery. Reset the SMC by removing the battery and power adapter then press and hold the power on button for five seconds. Replace the battery and AC adapter and give it a try. Please give us the last three figures of your serial number and the history on this machine. Were you having any video issues with it?

Apple MacBook Pro "Core 2 Duo" 2.2 15" (SR) Specs

What tests did Apple do? If it really is the logic board, you can get a "depot repair" or "flat rate repair". It costs about $280 plus shipping and tax.

by

i dont know wat test they performed they said me my motherboard is falling out and i had to change my motherboard

If there is a pulsing sleep light on the front then most likely your graphics card has failed. These models commonly suffer from the NVidia G84 and G86 graphics failure. Basically all the NVidia GeForce 8600M GT chips are defective. You might try to take it to the Apple Store and have them run a graphics test on the MacBook Pro. The only way to fix this is to replace the graphics card or replace the motherboard. Replacing the graphics card however requires a rework station.

Hope this Helps
