MacBook wont turn on, will display green adapter light/orange charging

Well im hoping you guys can help me out a bit.

my macbook suddenly stopped turning on. It will show green when i put my magsafe in and it charges the battery (orange light) but thats it. No chime no screen response.

Now i have heard of this 'jumping' idea to turn the macbook on directly from the logic board, but i cant quite work out what exact componets i have to touch, does nybody have a picture showing which parts i need to touch on this model to get it to jump?

or are there some things i have missed? i have tried removing battery, unplugging HDD, taking out ram, smc reset etc

i really dont want it to be the logic board :/

Answered! View the answer I have this problem too

You are in luck. First what you will have to do is remove the bottom cover of the MacBook. Then you will need to jump these two contacts (top picture, ignore bottom one)

they can be found to the left of the red square on this picture and over the two smaller connectors.

Hope this Helps

Keep in mind, you need to disconnect the keyboard/trackpad ribbon cable before jumping the machine. This model commonly has a sticky power button that will get stuck in the depressed position, and, again, if this is the situation with yours, it's not going to be jump-able until you disconnect the ribbon cable.

look at the picture, you need to short these 2 connections together, a small flat screwdriver would do it, just short out the connector, and that would act like the power button, i guess it tests whether its anything to do with a sticky on off button. my macbook has the same problem, i will try later today!
