Why is the Power button not popping back up?

I can still use the power button to lock the phone and whatnot, however, the button is not raising back up (almost as if there were a spring that broke).

How do I know if I need a new power button or a new power cable?

The functionality is still there, it just requires some wiggling of the power button.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
