First, try doing a hard restart. When the chrome OS logo appears, try to interupt the system by pressing the power button again. If this doesn't work, then you may need to enter recovery mode. Here is a link that explains how to do so: https://support.google.com/chromebook/an...

On an ASUS Chromebook, this usually points to a power, software, or hardware issue. Common causes include a corrupted ChromeOS, battery/power fault, or display/firmware problem.

Try these fixes in order:

Hard reset: Turn it off → hold Refresh + Power for 10 seconds.

Charge check: Plug in the charger, wait 30 minutes, then try again.

Recovery mode: Press Esc + Refresh + Power. If it boots to recovery, reinstall ChromeOS using a recovery USB.

External display test: Connect to an external monitor to rule out a screen issue.

Power drain: Unplug charger, hold Power for 30 seconds, then retry.

If it still shuts off after the logo, it’s likely a battery, motherboard, or eMMC failure and needs professional repair.
