Only top 1/3 of the screen plays. No blinking red light. No burned out

No burned out buffer board ic chips. Top 4 chips get warm as the TV plays with only the top 1/3 screen. All other buffer board chips stay cool. Tv screen primes at start up and stays lightly energized but dark. Tried replacing the sc board but got same result. No bulging caps seen on any boards. Voltages checkout fine. Any ideas??

It's the TC-P50x1. The 4 chips are the IC chips on the buffer boards. There are 6 on the top su board and 6 on the sd board. The top 4 get warm as they produce a picture as they should. The voltage to the sc board is 205 volts as it should be.
