PLEASE, without knowing something more about your issue and any history all I can say is it is broken. If everything else is working except your touch pad, it could just be a driver, or maybe a cable or the tp itself.

If your HP notebook touchpad isn’t working, first press Fn + F7 / F9 / F11 (varies by model) to re-enable it. Restart the laptop and check BIOS to ensure the touchpad is enabled. In Windows, go to Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Touchpad and turn it on. Update or reinstall the touchpad driver from HP’s official support website. If the issue persists, perform a system refresh: back up your data, then go to Settings → System → Recovery → Reset this PC and choose Keep my files. If it still fails, the touchpad may need hardware repair.
