my laptop It won't turn on The battery isn't failing, I don't know what it could be.

Start by plugging it into the wall. Even if the battery is dead or even removed completely, a laptop with a dead battery or no battery will still turn on when plugged into its wall charger.
If that does not work then you have bigger problems than the battery and something else is broken.

How do you know it isn't the battery? There's really no way to know for sure, unless it was working and then suddenly stopped. That and taking the entire thing apart and replacing the battery just to see.
