Heater System Coolant Leak Affecting Electrical Systems – Jeep Renegad

I was experiencing an issue where the coolant level kept dropping without any visible external leaks. Eventually, I identified the cause as a failure in the heater system behind the dashboard. There was no coolant leaking inside the cabin; instead, the coolant appeared to be accumulating or evaporating behind the dashboard area.

After this issue, several warning lights started appearing, including the airbag, electronic braking system, and seatbelt indicators. I suspect these warnings are related to coolant or moisture affecting electrical components behind the dashboard.

I would like to know how and where I can safely clean the affected electronic parts, or which components should be inspected first.

Vehicle details:

2017 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk 2.4L

Any guidance or experience with a similar issue would be appreciated.

Having that many items presenting would indicate water likely got onto an ECU Those are pretty well sealed, so the first thing I would go for is cleaning up multi pin connectors on the ECU. I doen't have familiarity with Jeep, so that is the best I can give you.

Thank you very much, Bill, for your response. To begin cleaning the pins, I’m not sure where these components are located. Could you please advise on their exact locations?
