Hi @carlburkhart!

You're right - that specific PN 210-000020 is nearly impossible to find as a standalone part. For older Hardware it should be just a standard FFC (Flat Flexible Cable).

According to my Information, it should be a ribbon cable for the DPI buttons, side buttons and RGB flex on the G9X.

Specifications you may need:

  • Pitch: 0.5mm (most common in gaming mice)
  • Pins: Count the conductors on your cable (probably 6-12 pins)
  • Type: Same-side or opposite-side contacts (check your connector orientation)
  • Length: Measure your old cable

Where to buy generic replacements:

  1. Mouser/Farnell - Professional distributors with 0.5mm pitch FFC cables in various pin counts
  2. AliExpress - Search for "FFC 0.5mm pitch [X]pin" where X is your pin count. Usually $1-3 for multiple cables
  3. Bananas Gaming (DE) - Specializes in mouse FFC cables
  4. eBay - Generic FFC/FPC cables in standard configurations

Pro tip: As long as the pitch (0.5mm), pin count, and contact orientation match, any generic FFC will work. The cable length doesn't have to be exact - you can route excess cable inside the mouse.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you need help identifying the exact specs.

Best Wishes

Marvin
