Any 450 Mbps Airport Card for an early 2008 MBP?

My Airport card in my early 2008 MBP connects to my Airport Extreme router at 270 Mbps in the 5 Ghz channel. Can I change it with a Wifi card that will give me 450 Mbps (I'm running Lion Os X) ? Many thanks

You may already have that capability (apple was early introducing 802.11n) but must be running OS 10.7 or 10.8 to access it. Airport Extreme allows multiband devices to use the best available band operating simultaneously over both 2.4GHz and 5GHz . AFAIK the 5GHZ router was just released in April by Netgear. You may have some interference with other 5GHz devices wireless transmissions lowering your speed.- check out your card specifications in Network Utility->Info.
