Repair, disassembly, and troubleshooting information for the Xbox Series S, Microsoft's newest small form factor, digital-only gaming console. The Xbox Series S was released alongside its more powerful big brother, the Xbox Series X, on November 10th, 2020.

Does anyone know the exact parts I need to replace these? Xbox Series

Very coroded capacitor, unfortunately, even just a bit of ipa and a q tip the corroded component and pads have come away from the board. Making an easy job, a lot more difficult.

Xbox Series S, turns on then immediately shuts off. I guess this is the cause.

I do have a spare Xbox one board I could potentially get these from of that's workable

Appreciate the help.

@andrewmcc37997 U431 is a TPS2100D power switch. Here is the datasheet for this TPS2100 C1690 is a 1µF 20% 10V capacitor in a 0201 package. Both of these parts appear to be available at Digikey.com as well as many other places.

Looks like you will have to rebuild those traces. Your picture is not close enough but it appears as if you could use the VIA's as solder points for the jumpers. Or you can use this Series S Schematic and go to page 39, to determine the next component from the pad onward, and use that as a point for jumper wires.
