Hi!
Depends on how damaged the components are inside.
The best thing that you can do is to take it apart and get the motherboard out. Clean the motherboard completely with isopropyl alcohol and check for any milk residue.
Clean it as good as you can. Also check all the ribbon cables to see if nothing is corroded and clean them as well.
If possible, you can always share some pictures with us, so that we can check how much damage is done.
