Monitor powers on, but only displays black backlit image.

Hi,
My monitor was working perfectly fine yesterday until out of nowhere in the middle of using it, I started getting image distortion and white lines running down the screen. (similar to the image in this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/Dell/comments/u...)
I tried restarting my computer but now my monitor just boots to a backlit grayish black screen with a single black line fainting flickering in the middle, eventually the screen completely fades out every time. I have tried swapping out both the hdmi and power cables, as well as trying it on various computers, but the result is still the same: power booting to a black screen that eventually fades out.

I assume this is a hardware issue with the monitor, it's just strange because there was no physical damage done, it just suddenly stopped working.

What part could be the issue, and is it replaceable?
