I try to open the laptop housing, but removing the 4 tiny screws doesn't seem to help. Is the lid glued to the housing?

So after you unscrew the screws from the housing, there are clips underneath. You can use an old gift card or a guitar pick to slide along the edge in between the cover and the housing. When you get all the way around the edge, the cover should just pop off.
