How do I repair my keyboard when liquid damage was done?

Today I spilt Arizona Tea on my MacBook all over the keyboard and now it won't start up, it just shut down and never worked ever. I took the battery out and tried to clean the keys out, with no success. My plug worked till I got curious and plugged it in and started the MacBook up and now no light shows. Anything will help! THANKS.

You should have let the unit dry out. You may have fried (shorted out) your logic board. Follow Helpful Answers for cleaning/drying after liquid damage.

This usually results in a shorted out keyboard that requires a top case replacement. If the liquid did not get to the logicboard you may be OK with just the uppercase replacement. Please give us the last three figures of your serial number, located in the battery compartment and we can get you to the correct guide to open it up and check the logic board and/or clean it up. Also so we can give you the correct part numbers. Do not use a blower to dry out as it can force liquid deeper into the machine.
