Repair guides, troubleshooting information, and service help for refrigerators manufactured by General Electric (GE).

Low and high pressure for GE GTS refrigerator.

I have a GE e GTS refrigerator. Is not culling despite change gas plenty times and filter tqo times. Also changes for any case starter and thermic switch. Low pressure i set it to 4 psi or a little more to test. Equalized pressure is form 55 to 75 depending on charge but don't cool or not freeze. I installed now a new filter with check valve to check high pressure. I need to know high working pressure at 28 °C ambient temperature. To check the compressor. Thanks in advance.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

There must be a model number somewhere on the product label and not just the model type?

For example something like this - GTS17BBSARWW or GTS18GSNRSS etc

by

General electric GTS 18

I am at work and the don't have the tag to see it

Hi @dariolobos

At the moment I could only find the mini manuals for the GTS18DPC____, the GTS18GTH____, and the GTS18FCS____ model ranges.

They have the information that you need if your model is one of the ones in the models ranges listed.

All these manuals I have them. It mentioned only equalized pressure and not working pressure high pressure circuit. Maybe this I formation is in inspection and replacement of motor.

I need to check if capillary is not stocked or have partial obstruction. For that I need pressure limits in high pressure circuit. In some links I found vary between 150 to 200 psi. Being 150 the most recommended value but I need another source to confirm this.

Even this GTS TSG doesn't show the full sealed system specifications

Does the compressor compliance plate show the current ratings for the motor?

If you have a clamp Ammeter check what the compressor start and run currents are
