Why does my iPod 5th gen (classic, not touch) have no sound?

my ipod video randomly stopped playing sound through the headphone jack. I think i tugged on my headphone cable weirdly a while ago and thats what messed it up. Anyhow, i replaced the headphone jack and hold switch, but that didnt fix my issue. I tried new headphones as well, which also didnt work. I even tried that trick where you press on the lower right side of the ipod to check if its a logic board issue, but that didnt work either. What should i do?

@nedsmither50987 assuming that all the ribbon cables and the headphone jack etc. are all working as should, the issue will be on the audio circuit. I'd try to reflow the audio IC first. There are no schematics so we can't really trace the audio circuitry
