Doesn't seem to mention it in the User manual for the hearing aids, but have you tried using the app in the phone to connect to the hearing aids?
try switching the hearing aids off and with the Bluetooth turned on in the phone, switch the hearing aids back on again and check if they appear in the phone's BT available devices menu list or if they pair with the phone.
I know of two different makes of hearing aids (not your make though) where the Bluetooth in the hearing aid is only enabled for a couple of minutes after the hearing aids have been turned on. If they aren't paired with a Bluetooth device within that time the Bluetooth is switched off. Once they have paired they will stay connected.
Can you pair the hearing aids to another Bluetooth enabled phone OK?

Have had Audien staff help with troubleshooting and can’t connect. “Should” be compatible but can’t get it to work.
