Touchscreen not responding HELP! do I need a new digitizer?

hello,

i have a 3g iPhone and i've broken the

glass of the iPhone..

it worked fine until i dropped it again..

everything works besides the touch itself

wont respond...

i am thinking of buying a new digitizer

will that make a difference?

or is it my logicboard...?

advices please ! thanks!

Try rebooting it, if this doesn't fix it, then the digitizer is dead.

You should try replacing it, its pretty easy only one important thing BE PATIENT, and take your time.

Am 90% sure that its dead and you need a new digitaizer but ckeck the 3 cabels under the LCD maybe it just unpluged after the drop.

i have an iphone 3g and my touch screen doesnt work. i opened my iphone and i saw cable #2 has been ripped. i want to know if i really need to replace the digitizer. thx
