Different blue screen error and SSD indicator stop in normal work

I have an ASUS TUF Gaming F17 2022 model laptop (i7, 16 GB RAM, RTX 3060, 2022 model). I’ve been using it for quite a while without major issues, but recently it started acting weird.

At first, everything was fine — I used it for gaming and heavy work. But now, during normal office tasks, the SSD indicator stops and the airplane mode light turns on, which makes the system freeze completely. I’ve tried updating drivers and other fixes, but nothing worked.

After that, I started getting blue screen errors — each time with a different message — and even Automatic Repair can’t fix it. I checked the dump files with “WhoCrashed” and it seems like a hardware issue, but I’m not sure.

The first time this happened, I took it to a shop — they formatted it, and it worked fine for a while. But the SSD indicator problem continued, and now the blue screens are back again.

Has anyone faced something similar or knows what could be causing this? Any advice would be really helpful.

(Attaching some screenshots from WhoCrashed for reference.)

Update:

I put the laptop in the repair shop, and they replaced the SSD, but the original issue still remained. the ssd indicator stop working that one

So, the technician tried a different approach by removing one of the RAM sticks. I am currently using the laptop with a single RAM stick, and it has been working fine so far.

The technician advised me to continue using the laptop to see if the issue happens again. If the laptop continues to work correctly, they suspect that the slot for the removed RAM stick is somehow broken or faulty.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to deal with this situation?

@ashutoshthakur if it is the RAM slot then you could possibly get someone t either resolder the old one to make sure it is not a bad solder joint, or you can replace it, if you can find a replacement slot. Most commonly people would replace the motherboard. It will all depend on your abilities, tools and spare parts.

@ashutoshthakur if it is the RAM slot then you could possibly get someone t either resolder the old one to make sure it is not a bad solder joint, or you can replace it, if you can find a replacement slot. Sometimes it pays off to purchase a broken motherboard and use that as a donor board for the slot. Most commonly, people would replace the motherboard. It will all depend on your abilities, tools and spare parts. It will help if you can identify your computer a bit better. Something like a FX706H FX506HF. If so, then your motherboard could be a DA0NJJMBAG0 and a DIMM socket like the TE Connectivity 2309409-2 DDR4 SODIMM 260P 5.2H STD would work.

Let us know if the Ram Slot is the actual issue.

The laptop model is FX707ZM DDR5 4800Mhz. I am using the laptop now as the repair shop told me to see if that was the actual issue. If yes, then I will let you know definitely
