iPhone left to charge, now not turning on what to do?

my iphone was working fine i left it to charge came back and it refused to turn on. It is being recognized by itunes.

also i have another iphone that is always having low signal sometimes none at all

Options

Plugged it into a wall charger to see if that works, hold down the power button & the home button simultaneously for 8 secs or until you see the apple appear. Try that
