Have you tried using both the remote control unit and the TV control buttons to turn it on?
What if anything happens when you try turning it on e.g. nothing happens, Standby light blinks but the TV doesn't turn on - if it blinks, count the number of blinks before it pause and starts blinking again. This is an error code that tells you what's wrong or TV turns on - Standby light changes colour but there's no picture or sound.
