G4 goes to sleep after osx language installer after 10 secs?

Before I put case back together I loaded Osx ,RAN smoothly. SO I stopped Osx and the put case back together. Now Ibook goes to sleep immediately after osx language comes up.I have voice active and still goes to sleep.I have reset pram 10x,done hard reset,checked all wires,and the hd. There was an lcd disconnected upon receiving lot shipment.I noticed a black wire cut in lcd case could not see where it was leading. Did not seem to affect loading osx before the case was put back together. There is a small square magnet that I can not figure out where it goes. Could that be it???? Any help would be Great!
