Accidentally Tore Unknown Cable While Replacing Digitizer

I was removing a shattered digitizer from an iPad 2. After I flipped the whole thing over to get ready to disconnect it, I realized a small bit of flex cable stayed attached to the digitizer. When I removed it, it tore from the chassis.

It is your Wi-Fi antenna.

Step 1 of Front Panel Replacement, area boxed in blue.

There is a clear picture of it in step 9.

You can get one on eBay.

More importantly there is an Installation Guide

"Bluetooth/Wi-Fi Antenna".

It's very fixable but somewhat difficult.

I torn the wifi cable from my ipad 2. You can simply twist the two broken ends together to restore your wifi. Good luck!
