The interior light will not go off.

Having the same issue, the interior light will not go off. Once the car is shut off. When I am driving, it stays on It's a 2002 Ford Mercury mountaineer.

I’d try cleaning the latches if that doesn’t work it could either be a wiring issue and I’d suggest pulling the fuse if it is or maybe simply the dimmers still turned on if your car has it
