How can I repair or replace the tip of my Apple Pencil?

I have an Apple Pencil 2nd Gen that has not been in use for months now. Shortly after I had bought it, my puppy decided to chew on the tip. The pencil still connects and charges, however, there is no response through the tip. It will not select, write, draw, etc. I do not want to purchase a brand new one and I was hoping there was a more budget friendly way to approach this. I would like to open up the casing to check the extent of the damage, seeing how it’s not covered under warranty, but I’m not sure the best way to approach this. Thank you

Kinda tricky, but some shops in China still do it.

They’re generally available replacement tips available online from what I’ve seen. My dog ate my 2nd Gen pencil 45 minutes after purchase and I looked into saving it
