Zxcvbnm keys on iPhone 4 not working

Hi everyone,

I just changed a broken LCD on an iPhone 4G, everything worked, however, later I noticed that Z,x,c,v,b,n,m keys and the add contact, call and delete keys on dial pad are not responding.

First I thought it most have something to do with the LCD, so I changed to an other one. but the problem is still there.

Also I went into the calculator, every single key there is working, so there is nothing wrong with the LCD. I've also re-installed ios 5.1.01

Answer this question I have this problem too

Since you have replaced the screen already and done a software restore, the problem repeats itself tells me that there is a issue with the connector. Most likely, some of the pins are making poor contact. You can try to inspect them closely with a scope and see if there is something blocking the contacts such as corrosion or foreign material. If there is nothing wrong, then there is probably a problem with the logic board. Sadly, I don't have the knowledge on what to do there.
