It used to power off 5 seconds after I took the mask off. Now it stays on until I use the button on the top to shut it off. This action started happening about 2 weeks ago.

Maybe some sensor contacts is stuck or got dirty because of usage?

@kapitalizm Where are these sensors located so I can check? Or what settings would be involved? Where can I find them?
@lynneclark Repairing medical equipment, especially expensive ones like this is difficult, it depends on technology used in device that detects mask removal. It can be pressure sensor, which, for example, detects inactivity when the mask is removed and sends a signal to turn it off. Or some other unknown technologic trick. Maybe this function can be also disabled by program settings, IDK because I didn't have the device in place.
This can be altered in the machine settings. The manual mentions this but if your machine is supplied by your medical professional they will need to adjust this. If your machine has wireless connectivity the firmware can be updated by your supplier/manufacturer - I suggest contacting your supplier directly to see if either of the above applies.
If you have leak detection on that will disable it from shutting off when you take your mask off... Try that. Worked for me when I got my 2nds Resmed 10 ASV
