How do you disconnect the battery?
I removed the screw from the silver & black connector but I am unable to pry it up for disconnectiron

Did you review the iPad 9 Battery Replacement guide? Jump to Step 30, after removing the screw you can then slide in carefully an altered guitar pick (thinned and notched or better a thin playing card which is notched to disconnect the battery. The connection it's self is a clamp stye not a lift off.
