battery replaced already but not charging

My iPhone 3G is not turning on, one thing that I notice is the apple on screen showing and freeze, and after how many minutes, the battery drawing showing on the middle of the screen with a red color indicating or telling you battery is empty and not charging, can anybody tell me what I need to do next.

I think your current firmware (phone software) has been corrupted. you've to update it. or restore it.

follow steps:

1. befor doing this charge your battery. (Plug it when going to sleep and remove when awake at morning)

2. If phone is charged. connect it to your pc via cable. itunes will automatickly detect it. and will give a option to restore it.

3. click on it. and wait until it restore the phone.

It'll work. :)
