I shut the door, did my settings as normal, pressed the start button and nothing happened. No noise when pressing the button.

If the dryer won't start usually there's a problem with either the door switch or the thermal fuse.
Below are some links that have videos that show how to replace the components in the dryer, that will help you to check if they're both OK or perhaps if one is faulty.
You will need to check them electrically using a DMM (digital multimeter).
If one of them is faulty the manufacturer's part number for each of the components shown in their respective link is applicable to the part in your dryer.
Search online for the manufacturer's part number only, to find suppliers that suit you best.
