For iPad Air 4 (11-inch) screen replacement you need:

Part required

Complete LCD + digitizer assembly (laminated together, not sold separately for this model).

Tools required

iOpener or heat gun (for loosening adhesive)

Suction cups and opening picks

Plastic spudger

Pentalobe and Phillips screwdrivers (depending on screws used inside)

ESD-safe tweezers

Adhesive strips (precut adhesive kit for reassembly)

Steps overview

1. Power off device.

2. Apply heat to edges to soften adhesive.

3. Use suction cup + picks to lift screen carefully without damaging Face ID sensor or cables.

4. Disconnect battery first, then display flex cables.

5. Remove broken display.

6. Transfer Face ID sensor assembly if needed (very fragile).

7. Install new display assembly with fresh adhesive.

8. Reconnect battery and test before sealing.

Where to buy parts

iFixit (ifixit.com)

Mobile parts suppliers (e.g. InjuredGadgets, MobileSentrix)

eBay/Amazon (look for OEM or Grade A replacements)
