My bios is corrupted is there a way to fix it or am I cooked

I was getting driver issues and then i reinstalled my gpu drivers IN safe mode, then i reboot and i went into my bios to check everything and then i left it be after hitting save and exit and now it won’t even turn on as it power cycles every time i try to boot, i believe my bios is corrupted and i don’t know how to fix it as i couldn’t fixed a diagram of the motherboard anywhere (to reset the bios because i couldn’t find the battery anywhere) . Please if someone knows to help that would be amazing

Hi @gmode

The RTC battery supply that maintains the BIOS when the laptop is switched off, is supplied by the main battery and not a separate battery on the motherboard.

Disconnect the main battery cable from the motherboard, then press and hold the power button operated for a full 30 seconds and release.

Reconnect the main battery cable, reassemble the laptop, connect the charger and check if it turns on OK etc.
