Is it possible to set different color LCD keyboard lighting.

So I've heard rumors about this going around on the internet, example of what I'm talking about in this picture here.

I wasn't sure it it was photoshopped or not, whether anyone has actually ever done it. I recently got a macbook pro and I like to consider myself at least a little bit of a techie, an dI was wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to how I should go about this?
