Hi @mmrn

Try using the phone's WiFi as close as possible to your home network router i.e. <15cm and check if the phone detects and maintains a stable WiFi connection.

If it works OK then it may be faulty or loose WiFi antennas.

Here's a teardown video that may help as it shows the antenna cables being disconnected during the procedure.

The root cause of this issue on the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is a CPU desoldering (solder joint failure).

The Snapdragon 888 chip in this device runs extremely hot. Over time, this intense heat causes the solder balls underneath the CPU and RAM to crack and lose connection (thermal cycling issue). Since the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth lines run directly through those contacts, the Wi-Fi module is usually the first thing to fail.

How to fix it:
Software resets or replacing the Wi-Fi chip will NOT fix this. The only permanent solution is a CPU and RAM reballing (desoldering the chips, cleaning the board, and soldering them back with fresh leaded solder). You will need to take it to a professional repair shop with advanced microsoldering equipment.
