Battery board data cable connector

step 10. In disconnection the cable I pulled the 2 tabs off the ribbon. Will I be able to reconnect this tabless cable?

If the cable it's self is damaged I would just replace the cable MacBook Pro 13" BMU Flex Cable (4TB 18/19/20) if the cover flaps are just torn placing some electricians tape over the exposed connector will also work but given how cheap the cable is I would replace it. That's assuming the system is working fully.
