Will face ID work after a screen replacement

Hi,

I'm hearing different information on if replacing the original screen on a 14 Plus will immobilize the face ID or not.

I need to replace the screen but I'd rather keep the face ID and finger print reader ect.

Could anyone clarify please?

face id has nothing to do with the screen and a 14 plus doesnt have a fingerprint sensor
