How Long do I blow the hair dryer to open the iPod?

I am going to fix my ipod touch soon. I was wandering how long I blow the hair dryer on the screen to loosen the adhesive? Also what setting? Low, medium, or high (heat)? The only thing I have been able to find is for a heat gun.

Michael Ketzner, that will depend entirely on your hairdryer. You only have to heat until the glue gets soft, so make sure that your hairdryer has enough heating capacity to get this accomplished. Check this guide for more information.
