model type is rubbed off from bottom of laptop

About to replace the DC-In Board, which is only compatible with types, A1054 and A1133. Is there another way to determine these numbers?

Well don't bother, any DC in board coming from any iBook G4 will fit. Just make sure to order one for the 12" iBook G4 cause the 14" iBook G4 DC in board has a longer cable.

What is your iBook processor speed ?

Look under the battery or keyboard. Sometimes you can find the info there. Ralph
