How do I replace an inverter?

Dell Latitude D810 Laptop/Notebook This is what I am needing and inverter for.

Also have a Dell Latitude D810 Laptop/Notebook with a screen problem.

turns on with a pinkish tint on the screen then the screen turns off. Is this an inverter or back light? Or do you know.

Options

The pink would indicate a failing ccfls in the LCD. If you can still see the screen dimly when it goes off, it's usually the inverter.
