clamshell lcd swap!

Just bought a secondhand 13" early 2011 mbp i5 which has a battered and bruised lcd /clamshell lid (aluminum bit). I was wondering if i can swap it with a very good condition lid from my early 2010 mbp also 13", I intend to remove the glass, lcd camera etc and swap these bits, so i the have parts from the newer mbp lid put into the older mbp lid.

Does anyone know if its possible, as i cant see apple remilling the aluminium lid, or did they!

Options

If they're both the same model (ie the Axxx) number found on the back of the case you shouldn't have much of a problem.

Thanks for that, what worries me is the different cameras. Do you think they will be fixed in the same way as each other?
