A/V Cables not working properly

Last night on the ps3, I was playing mw2(2 thumbs up for infinity ward). While playing I had a graphic issue using my HD conpeont cables that i bought for my ps3.

I don't know if the a/v cables went bad or the ps3 died. How can I find out?

If it is the cables, what kind should I get?

And by the way i have Monster Game Conpeont cables for my Ps3 fat

p.s. i own a 2usb 80gb

You can also try a different set of cables including if you have it the stock AV cables that came with your system. Also try a different TV set or Monitor and see if that works.

Thanks so much Nat for the translation and spelling. Who says the older generation can't communicate with the younger? This type of machine fails so many times due to cheap cables and heavy use that I would never go the cheap route. Go to Radio Shack and get the best they have. If the PlayStation is bad you will always be able to use them with a newer machine. I prefer the "Monster" brand. http://www.monstercable.com/

As an audio technician, I respectfully disagree about Monster cables. In the sound industry, nearly everyone agrees that they are overpriced and not worth it.

Josh, if you have a constructive comment, then you need to try to answer the question yourself. You offered no alternative, just criticism.

I'm sorry- I didn't mean it as criticism. I simply meant it as a way to save the chap some money if he needed new cables. I tried to convey that, but I guess I failed. I apologize.

by

Thanks. As an audiophile what cables do you recommend?
