Why is the starting relay on main control board clicking on and off?

I thought maybe the main control board had failed, so I replaced it to no avail. I can't even get into diagnostic mode because the main control board just keep 'clicking,' dropping power out to the entire fridge, despite constant 120v @ inlet of main control board. So when I plug it in and open the doors, the lights flash on, then off, at about 1 second intervals. What is dropping main power to main control board???

What is the full model number of the refrigerator?

Reason for asking is that there's 5 KitchenAid model variants beginning with KRFF507H**** and they may not be all the same if replacement parts are required

Disconnect the compressor motor and run capacitor from the wiring harness and check what happens when the power is connected to the refrigerator. Maybe the compressor or capacitor is faulty and when the power is connected and it tries to start, the overload protector is operating to shut everything down.

Just what I'd try first.
