Adams, Samsung makes a LOT of different microwaves and we would need to know the model number of yours in order to help.

Hi @adamsmugah

Remove the turntable and turntable roller ring from the microwave oven and then run your fingers lightly along the track of the rollers around the base of the oven and check for any bumps, rough edges etc (burnt on food particles etc?).

If there are any gently clean the surface until it is smooth.

Check the rollers on the ring for any flat spots that may be causing the turntable not to rotate smoothly.

If any roller has a flat spot, unfortunately you will have to replace the ring assembly as individual rollers are unavailable. Knowing the model number will help to find the correct replacement part. You could try gently sanding the flat spot out, until the roller is nearly round again.

Lastly, apply 1 drop of cooking oil down the shaft of the turntable motor and see if the noise is no longer there.
