My speaker doesn't relay sound when pressure is applied it works

Most likely, there is a loose internal connection in your speaker—typically a damaged wire or a weak solder joint. Sound is restored by momentarily reconnecting the circuit with pressure. Opening the speaker and looking for loose wires or cracked solder joints close to the driver or input terminals is the best course of action.
