Most likely, there is a loose internal connection in your speaker—typically a damaged wire or a weak solder joint. Sound is restored by momentarily reconnecting the circuit with pressure. Opening the speaker and looking for loose wires or cracked solder joints close to the driver or input terminals is the best course of action. Replace damaged wires or carefully resolder any weak connections. Verify the battery connections as well if the speaker is Bluetooth. See a technician if you don't know how to fix electronics. Avoid using the speaker until it has been fixed because pressure-based use could result in irreversible damage. Frequent use with loose connections may make the problem worse.

Hi Peter,
Which speaker isn't working, the earpiece speaker you put to your ear, or the loudspeaker at the bottom of the phone?
