Screen white after replacement

I replaced the front glass and lcd screen. When I turned the phone back on...the screen is completely white. No picture is popping on? What is the problem?

Options

I have replaced a few screens and sometimes they are dead on arrival. If you are sure that you have connected the digitizer and lcd ribbon cables securely, then its likely a faulty replacement screen.
