What is the full model name of the phone as there are a lot of different models in the galaxy A series.
Alternatively there's the model number shown on the back cover of the phone at the bottom e.g. SM-A???
Has the phone been dropped or gotten wet at all?
As the phone is new, if it has been dropped or gotten wet then it won't be covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
You will need to get the systemboard checked and cleaned first before perhaps the screen needs to be replaced. Here's how to check if liquids have entered the phone or not
If it hasn't gotten wet or been dropped contact Samsung regarding a warranty repair.
