Can an iPod classic 5th generation 80gb handle 512gb without issues

i have an ipod classic 5th generation 30gb with 32mb of ram but want to buy an 80gb model with 64mb ram to do a board swap since i have been using that ipod for years now and wanted to know if i should go for 256gb or 512gb with an iflash quad with a 3000mah battery in the thin case and to know if there will be any performance issues with the 512gb.

There are a few Flash upgrade kits, the one I used for my iPod was a Tarkan iFlash-Dual SD Card Adapter. I recommend you check out this site Tarkan
