On my GE dshs6vgbbcss side by side refrigerator when you push the control pad to disperse crushed or cubed ice the power goes out to the pad and for a split second and then reboots. The water dispenser and light are not effected though

Sounds like a problem with the dispenser control board.
I can't find a free wiring diagram for the refrigerator online (and most likely there won't be one for the dispenser board) but usually GE supplies a mini manual with each product.
The mini manual for your model is PUB 31-15809 and here's an article that shows where it might be located in the refrigerator cabinet or if it isn't there, how you can get a copy.
