The battery will not charge?

The battery in my iPhone 3GS will not take a charge. I have updated the operating system thinking it was possibly a software issue, but it was not. Regardless if I plug it into the computer or an AC outlet the only thing that happens is that it displays it is charging, but in actuality it is not charging.

Sounds like the battery for your iphone is bad. You can easily buy a replacement battery on ebay or amazon.
